Hello, this is my first post on ImTom - So welcome and I’m going to dive right in and start off with my first rant, on notorious Microsoft Xbox Support!

So, my Xbox 360 Elite decided to start freezing on me last Wednesday shortly after playing a legendary ‘Germany’ vs ‘England’ on Xbox Live against a German girl. She lost, obviously, that’s not the point, so anyway, my Xbox freezes up on me… I think to myself “Thats odd, not enough ventilation, must be too hot” - So i place my Xbox behind my TV next to the window where its like.. Near freezing, playing GTA 4 single player, BAM freezes up again.

I took a look on Xbox.com and troubleshooted some of my problems, turns out I was right about the ventilation and I should take the hard drive out, load the Xbox dashboard and let it run for a about 15 minutes in a cool envrionment. And like magic, no freezing.

So I’m playing Fifa 08 career mode a few hours later, then there he is again.. Mr. Freeze! So I thought “Im not having this, gonna ring Microsoft”, I was happy to be greeted by an English speaking robot, it was when I got talking to a jibberish, broken down English speaking guy that I really got pissed.

He was doing okay, he told me what was wrong, went through the troubleshooting with me, then sent me some details to my email address so I can send my Xbox off for repair. So I get this email for UPS, and the damn sticker ID was wrong, so I thought it could be because it hasnt processed properly yet, but no, it really was wrong, I had to call again, I got a different guy, same horrible English, but didn’t understand what I meant, so I just told him I want UPS To come pick my system up from my house and to bring his own stickers for the box to be sent.

So, a day later, the UPS come, take it away, now the joy of waiting 3 - 5 weeks for my repaired or replaced Xbox 360! Joy.

Don’t you just love Microsoft?
